Late Chief Mrs. Beatrice Bolaji Fabilola Goes Home in style
Mother of Mrs Adenike Akindolire, Chief Mrs Beatrice Bolaji Fabilola, has been laid to rest at her residence, Oba-Ile, in Akure North Local Government area of Ondo State.
Calls for her emulation and virtues started to pour in during the wake-keep service held at her residence on 20th Thursday, September, to 21st Friday, September 2023 at her home, Oba-Ile.
While leading the funeral service at The Cathedral Church of Saint David, Ijomu, Akure, Dean of the Cathedral, Ven. Ope Kujero JP, extolled the virtues of late Mrs Beatrice Bolaji Fabilola and enjoined her children to emulate her.
Ven. Kujero stated that death is an inescapable way to eternal life. The time it would occur was unknown to human beings, but we must live well when we were alive.
He urged Christians to remember that one day they will leave and go to where they come from, as salvation is not inherited.
He said,” Christians must remember that one day, they will leave and go to where they come from. Salvation is not inherited. It’s you that have to try your best.
Your mother has done her best and has gone home to rest. We don’t pray for the death because they have gotten their reward.
It’s appointed for us to die after death is judgment.
Your mother was a good fruit because all the fruit that came out of her were good fruits.
She lives a life that shows the goodness of God on her”, he said.
In a chat with The Focus Magazine Publisher, Mrs. Adenike Akindolire, a daughter, eulogies her mother as a woman who put her children in the way of God.
She said,” My mother demonstrated her intelligence in so many ways and was meticulous.
With a remarkable memory, she wove together the fabric of our lives ensuring the milestones and the birthday anniversaries of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were never forgotten.
I miss the every evening calls and Sunday visits. Nevertheless, I take solace in the Almighty God.
” Through the love of God my savior, all will be well. As I move on the journey of life, I will be trusting God to uphold me “.
Deaconess Adenike Akindolire stated further that her mother contributed to the success of her children. A humble, honest, simple, and responsible. I will forever remember her for her marvelous love.
In his response, one of Mama in-laws. Mr Akindolire said,” Mama is a mother to him. She did not see me as an inlaw but as one of her children.
Mama was very humble and gentle. She walked in the way of her creator until she received the final call to join her maker. I want everyone present at her burial service to emulate her “.
It could be recalled that late Chief Mrs Beatrice Bolaji Fabilola “Eye Ife”, fondly called was born into the family of Pa, Daramola in the present Akure, the capital of Ondo State eight decades ago.
She started her elementary school at St. David’s Primary School, Ijomu, Akure, where she obtained her Standard Six Certificate.
Her ambition is to become a nurse as she sat for the entrance examination into the Wesley Guild School of Nursing, Ilesa, and passed. However, her aspiration to become a nurse could not materialize due to some circumstances beyond her control.
She later got married to the man of her choice and the marriage was blessed with wonderful children.
Mama was a pillar of support to her husband and she loved and cared for all of her children. She believed firmly in training her children, encouraging them to be their best in whatever they showed interest in and cheering them up from the sideline as they attained milestones.
She was an intelligent woman and valued education seriously as she believed that if you don’t value education, try ignorant.
She denied herself a lot of pleasure things so that she can be able to provide a sound education for all of her children and to the glory of God, her heart’s desires were fulfilled.
She was a devoted Christian and was baptized and confirmed as a member of the Anglican Communion.
She served as an Usher in St John’s Anglican Church, Oba-Ile, and also a member of ‘Egbe Aya Bishop” of St. David’s Cathedral Church, Ijomu Akure.
She was a prayer warrior and lived peacefully with her neighbour’s both in Oba-Ile and Akure.
Chief Mrs. Beatrice Bolaji Fabilola was survived by children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
The burial service was attended by distinguished personalities within and outside the state, which includes, including the Zonal Pastor of TREM, South West, Pastor Dr. Adesina Makanjuola, the Tremites family from Oke-Aro, Akure, friends, and well-wishers.
