Oba Benjamin Omoleewo Mourns Akeredolu
The Elekun of Ilekun in Akure South Local Government, HRH, Oba Benjamin Oluwafemi Omoleewo has described the passing away of Governor Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu SAN as a shock to him and the entire people of his community.
In his condolence message, Oba Omoleewo said Governor Akeredolu death is great lost to the people of Ondo State and Nigeria in general.
He described Akeredolu as a courageous leader who fought for the interest of his people.
Oba Omoleewo said Akeredolu passion for the safety of his people gave birth to the creation of Amotekun Corps in the South West of the country .
According to the traditional ruler, ” I became the Elekun of Ilekun through the committee set up by Governor Akeredolu to look at the report of Ajama Commission.
He tried his best for the people of Ondo State in the area of good governance, security and infrastructure”.
Oba Omoleewo condoned with the immediate family members and the good people of Ondo State and pray for his soul to rest in peace.
