Prof. Augustine Olusegun Olusola Bags Educational Award
Prof. Augustine Olusegun Olusola, the first Professor of Biochemistry, at Adekunle Ajasin University,( AAUA), Akungba Akoko, will be honoured with a prestigious award of “Icon of Educational Development”, by The Focus Magazine, for his contributions to the development of education and humanity
Prof. Augustine Olusegun Olusola, is a B.Sc degree holder in Biochemistry, from University of Benin, Master’s degree in Biochemistry and Ph.D in Biochemical Toxicology, from University of Benin, Edo State
Professor Augustine Olusegun Olusola, joined the services of Adekunle Ajasin University, (AAUA), Akungba Akoko, as a graduate assistant, in the department of Biochemistry and rose through the ranks until he became a Professor in the year 2020.
He has been very active in teaching and research and has published over seventh, articles in both local and foreign peer-reviewed journal.
He has also presented several award winning scientific papers at both local and international confrences.
He is a fellow, Strategic Institute of Natural Resources and Human Development (FRHD), Abuja and Fellow, Institute of Industrial Administration of Nigeria, and belongs to many Professional bodies.
The Focus Magazine is celebrating his achievements as a reputable role model, educator, mentor and a lecturer in one of the foremost public Universities in the Country, who his passion for excellence, diligence and quality is worthy of recognition and celebration.
An advocate of the masses and people surrounding him wouldn’t forget him easily for what he has done for those that comes to his way.
The event will be chaired by the Rt. Hon. Victor Olabimtan, SUBEB and His Excellency, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, Executive Governor of Ondo State as a Special Guests of Honour.
The event will hold at Comrade Amusa Bakare Akuresanmi Multipurpose Hall, Opp. Ade-Tade Hospital, Ilesa Road, Akure, on Thursday 7th March, 2024, by 12:00pm.
With the theme: Role of Government and Parents in curbing the rate of out of school children in Nigeria.
