Bofoat Model Int’l Group Of Schools Celebrates 25th And 4th Edition Of Inter House Sport Competition
The Bofoat Model International Group of Schools, Ugbe Akoko, in Akoko North East Local Government area of Ondo State, has celebrated its 25th anniversary and the 4th edition of the Inter House Sports Competition, at the sports arena of the college recently.
In his welcome address, the Director of Studies of the school, Motunrayo Babalola extolled the virtue of his late father and founder, late Chief M. B. Babalola for establishing the citadel of learning for the development of humankind.

Bofoat Model International Group of Schools, Ugbe Akoko, is an institution entrenched in the vision and dream of the illustrious son of Ikare Akoko.
A retired tutor general, principal, and the first pioneer of the school.
His selfless and relentless passion for education and identifying the need to give back to the society and community at large.
This led to the foundation of Bofoat twenty-five years ago, which has now transformed into a legacy of academic and career advancement, which we are celebrating today”.
Babalola stated further that, since he took over the schools from his late father, the schools had witnessed monumental development.
“Since I took over the schools from my later father, we have monumental evidence of various modern state-of-the-art evidence that complements a conducive academic environment of learning which connotes the turnaround growth and development.
Our school has been a place where dreams are born and nurtured. It’s a place where we learn not just from books but from one another.
Every corner school has a story to tell; stories of friendships, stories of triumphs, and stories of hard work and dedication.
The love, support, admonishing, and words of advice that we received from people, from parents are often challenging reasons for continuous calls and drives for our success in all departments of the schools.
The promptness of your responses to invitations, calls, requests, duties, and responsibilities are appreciably unquantifiable”.
He added that the schools had witnessed a lot of challenges, but God saw us through.
” I have faced greater challenges of succeeding my father, the first Director, and sustaining the footprints and landmarks he left behind as legacies, but I understand that every setback has been a setup for a comeback.
I have learned to rise above and grow stronger.
These experiences have taught me the true meaning of resilience in the face of difficulties.
I have learned that I am stronger as a family in Bofoat Model International Group of Schools”, he said.
In his speech, the chairman of the occasion, Abiola Oluwaseun Adegbola said, the schools have become wax stronger both in academics and sports.
” Bofoat Model International Group of Schools is one of the best schools in the country as of today.
The schools have been waxing stronger both in academics and sports.
I don’t regret enrolling my children in the schools.
However, every school need funding because they have to pay their workers and do other things. I have never seen the school’s management sending out students because of not paying school fees. This has added value to the credibility of the schools”.
Also speaking, one of the heirs of the late founder, Dr. Akinwumi Babalola said, he was very happy that the legacy his father left behind didn’t die with him.
“I’m very happy that the legacy our father left behind doesn’t die with him. We don’t know that my brother who is in charge of the schools would perform more than our late father.
He has turned the schools around in every area, and Bofoat Model International Group of Schools is one of the best citadels of learning today across the country
However, the wife of the founder, who is also the proprietress of the schools, Mrs Janet Babalola said, Jesus has been the cornerstone of schools.
“Jesus has been our cornerstone in which the schools were built.
He has been the One, who has sustained us, I returned all the glory to Him for being with us in the last twenty-five years ago”.
The twenty-fifth anniversary of the schools was attended by dignitaries within and outside the state, including His Royal Majesty, the Olukare of Ikare Akoko, Oba Saliu Momoh, His Royal Majesty, Oba Adedoyin Adefemi, the Owa-Ale of Ikare Akoko, the Olugbe of Ugbe Akoko, Oba Adefemi Ajiboye, who were being represented by their chiefs, member representing Akoko North East State constituency, Barr. Olawale Kaseem, PTA Chairman, management and staff of the schools, schools invited, old Students of Bofoat, friends, family, and well-wishers.
