Ondo 2024: Mammoth Crowd Graced Barr Olumuyiwa Adu Declaration For Gov Aiyedatiwa in Akure
The MKO Abiola Democracy Park was filled to the brim as Barr Olumuyiwa Adu, a Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ondo State officially declared his support for Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa ahead of the April 20th Primary election of the ruling party in Ondo State.
The mammoth crowd that graced the open declaration was no doubt a pointer to the popularity and acceptability of the Akure born Philanthropist by not only the party’s members but also the people of Akure Community.
Supporters and followers of the APC Chieftain came from the 18 Local Governments of the state to show solidarity and support for Dr Adu who they believe can’t lead them astray as far as who to support in the party’s primary.
Addressing the crowd, Dr Adu said his support for the governor is divinely arranged not based on his personal initiative saying the ruling party won’t regret voting for Governor Aiyedatiwa who is passionate about the welfare of the party’s members and people of the state.
He commended the governor for keying into the transformational policies of his predecessor in office, Late Akeredolu, adding that within the shortest period in office, every sector of governance can feel the positive impact of People’s Oriented administration.
Adu appealled to every member of the party’s to cast their vote for the governor, noting that nobody change a winning team.
He thanked all his supporters for believing in him, promising to work with the governor to make a better difference in governance in Ondo State.
Entering the venue of the declaration, Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, arrived to a rousing welcome from the supporters of Barr Adu who have been waiting for his arrival.
He thanked Barr Adu for supporting him among other aspirants who are ready to welcome him into their folds saying the overwhelming support and multitude assembled will definitely translate to victory at the primary.
” I commend the efforts of the convener, Barr Olumuyiwa Adu. With the huge turnout I am witnessing today, it is another pointer to victory at the primary”.
Meanwhile, the popular Fuji Musician, Saheed Osupa and some Nollywood Actors were on ground to entertain people at the venue.
