Movement for Good Governance and Ethical Leadership Set to Work For Aiyedatiwa/Adelami, Inaugurates New State Exco
Movement for Good Governance and Ethical Leadership (MGGEL), Ondo State chapter has said the group is ready to work for Aiyedatiwa and Adelami in the forthcoming governorship election in Ondo State State.
In his address, the converner and Director General of the group, Mr. H.K. Bello said the platform will give opportunity for members of the group to work as independent campaign body for Aiyedatiwa/ Adelami for the forthcoming governorship election in Ondo State.
He said the coming together of Aiyedatiwa/Adelami ticket will give a new Ondo State as their project is divine call from God.
The Director General of the group, Hon. H. K. Bello said the group was formed in 2006 by a group of men and women who craved good governance and ethical leadership and that over the years, it has become one of the most vibrant and largest support groups in Nigeria.
Bello, used the opportunity to restate the commitment of the group to galvanize and mobilize grassroots support that will translate into massive votes for Governor Aiyedatiwa.
Giving his remarks, State Minister for Youths, Hon. Ayodele Olawande ably represented extended congratulations to the new state executives just as he charged them to work assiduously to achieve the goal.
He also used the opportunity to commend the Converner, Hon. Bello for doing a yeoman’s job, striving for good governance in Ondo State.
He promised all necessary support towards actualizing the goal of the party to win the next Governorship election in the state.
Also speaking at the event, the Special Adviser to Ondo State Mr. Govenor on Political Matters, Hon. Smart Omodunbi ably represented by Hon. Gbenga Afolabi commended Hon. Bello and MGGEL as a whole, restating that the task ahead is arduous and that all hands must be on deck to secure massive votes for Mr. Governor during the Novemeber Governorship election.
In separate remarks, the State Commissioner for Education, Science & Technology, Hon. ‘Laolu Akindolire and former ALGON Chairman, Hon. Augustine Oloruntogbe who were also ably represented expressed their goodwill messages
while also restating their committment to the project.
Highpoint of the event is the inauguration of the new state executives to be led by Prince Oluwatuyi Korede as chairman.
The event also featured the unveiling of the campaign strategy of the team and its governorship candidate in the person of Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.
Another major highlight is the presentation of awards of excellence to some distinguished Nigerians including Hon. H. K Bello, Hon. Ayodele Olawande among others.
Responding shortly after his inauguration, the new state chairman, Prince Oluwatuyi thanked members for the opportunity to serve just as he promised to work and achieve set goal while also adding value to the group.
