APC Ward 12, in Akungba Akoko Holds Emergency Meeting
The All Progress Congress (APC) members in ward 12, Akungba Akoko recently held an emergency meeting to stop some splinter group not to create enmity among the APC fold in the ward ahead of the forthcoming Governorship election in Ondo State.
Speaking at the meeting, the converner Barr. Victor Olatoyegun said, “a splinter group that pretends to support H/E Ayedatiwa wants to exploit members by creating a faction within the APC fold in the ward, which may be inimical to the success of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa in the forthcoming November 16th governorship election in Ondo State”.
Olatoyegun urged all members of APC in the ward to shun unhealthy competition and focus on how they would win the forthcoming governorship election for Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, who is the APC candidate for the election.
He also enjoined members to shun anti party activities and rivalry amongst other things.
Members present at the meeting includes, Mr. Isiaka Kalani, Mr. Oguntuyi, Elder Makanju Andrew, Barr. Victor Olatoyegun, Hon. Gani Tiamiyu, Mr. Mufu, Alhaji Lawal, Mr. Kunle Olubodun, Mr. Folayan Olaiya, Mr. Olumide Olorunmo, Mr. Agbadagbe Sanmi, Mr. Adejumo Kayode. Abiodun Babatunde, Ogunlana, Sunday Odunayo, Sunday Vincent, Prince Ade Adeoba, Iya Ewe, among others.
