I Believe Every Human Being are Created With Definite Purpose – Akindojutimi Oluwande
The manager of The City Light and Liberation Foundation, Akindojutimi Oluwande has said, he believes that every human being was created with a definite purpose, and life itself is a journey to fulfilling that purpose, and to empower people to live life to the fullest is the main goal of The City of Life and Liberation Foundation.
Speaking with The Focus Magazine at the school premises situated in the Araromi area, Opposite, Akure Airport, Akure North Local Government, Ondo State, where students learning various skills said, that human trafficking has now become a multi-billion industry worldwide, where perpetrators profit from the control and exploitation of others.

In Nigeria, over half of the population lives in poverty, youth unemployment stands at 50%, and vulnerable people have become easy targets.
These people are mostly girls and young women who are trafficking in the commercial sex trade and labour industry every day”.
He stated further that available statistics in 2014, estimated that there are currently 10,000 Nigerian prostitutes resident in Italy alone and other significant countries like the Netherlands, Spain and to a lesser degree, Germany, Belgium, Austria and the UK.
He said, in most cases, our people fall into fake promises made to them regarding jobs or marriages in foreign countries to entrap the victims.
These victims often suffer physical and emotional abuse, rape and threats against self and family.
Akindojutimi said the mission of the foundation is to provide development and empowerment through capacity development and the creation of employment opportunities for the less privileged Nigerians.
He said the foundation focuses on vocational training as well as technical and financial start-up assistance.
It can be recalled that The City of Light and Liberation Foundation was established in 2009 and registered in Austria and Nigeria as a non-governmental organisation to combat human trafficking by educating and empowering people in rural communities in Nigeria.
