Akingboye Welcomes We Africa BEMORE Girls
The SDP Governorship Candidate in November 16 Governorship election in Ondo State, Otunba Bamidele Akingboye, popularly called OBA, today received the 36-sponsored We Africa BEMORE Girls to Akure after two weeks intensive training in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
Arriving his resident at exactly 1:45pm, the girls who were looking robust and well-fed for two weeks were full of joy and enthusiasm as they showed appreciation to Otunba Bamidele Akingboye who spent over N40m on the programme which is a pet project of former First Lady of Ondo State, Chief (Mrs) Betty Anyawu-Akeredolu.
Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Miss Ayedogbon, while showering encomium on Otunba Bamidele Akingboye said, “Daddy, we jointly pray that may your dream of governing this state be made possible in Jesus name. You have made us to learn a lot of things, ranging from computer to solar installation and many more. We are now better informed in technology than before. This two weeks we spent in Ibadan have really exposed us to a lot of advantages which will be useful for us in future,”
Responding, Otunba Bamidele Akingboye, who was also full of joy said, “This is just a tip of the iceberg and as first set of We Africa BEMORE Girls, I promise to always be there for you with a view to making you successful girls in future”, the SDP Governorship hopefully said.
While presenting the young school girls with exercise books as they would be resuming for school in few days time, Otunba Akingboye said, “The State is now tensed as most parents are now hypertensive on how to buy books and uniforms for their Wards as school resumes next week.
Their parents who came to pick their children went home as happy parents when they saw brand new laptops, solar panels and solar batteries being brought from the two week BEMORE Summer Boot camp for Girls.
On hands to receive the 36-sponsored We Africa BEMORE Girls alongside Otunba Bamidele Akingboye were his lovely and beautiful wife, Mrs Akingboye, the deputy governorship Candidate of the party, Erelu Gbemisola Sekoni, Barrister Ojo and the campaign Director-General, Engr Femi Ikoyi among others.
