Dakiz Human Development and Empowerment Initiative (DHDEI) has proudly announced the graduation of over 150 young individuals in 2024 alone from its empowerment programs. The founder of DHDEI, Akingbade Toluwa-Jolomi, shared this milestone with journalists, emphasizing the organization’s dedication to youth empowerment and skill acquisition. The diverse skills mastered by the Ambassadors include blogging, photography, graphic design, artificial intelligence training, hairdressing, barbing, frame making, cake baking, fashion design, and makeup artistry.

In an inspiring development, Akingbade revealed that the organization facilitated over Three Million Naira worth of start-up tools for a significant number of graduates. These tools aim to help the Ambassadors establish their ventures and contribute meaningfully to society.

Akingbade also highlighted the record-breaking impact of DHDEI’s programs in 2024 alone, where 522 youths benefitted from free vocational and technological training. This represents a sharp increase in participation, underscoring the growing trust in the organization’s ability to deliver meaningful change.

Reflecting on these achievements, Akingbade expressed profound gratitude to Almighty God for the successes recorded in 2024. He also commended the support of partners, funders, and community stakeholders who contributed to the initiative’s progress.

“We are deeply thankful for the impact we’ve been able to make this year,” Akingbade said. “Our goal for 2025 is to scale up our efforts, reaching even more young people and providing them with the tools they need to thrive in an ever-changing world.”

DHDEI’s efforts have consistently received accolades for addressing unemployment and equipping young individuals with 21st-century skills. As the organization prepares for 2025, stakeholders eagerly anticipate the expansion of its initiatives and the ripple effects on southwestern Nigeria’s youth.

Operating primarily in Ondo State and the southwestern region of Nigeria, DHDEI has established itself as a leader in grassroots-driven empowerment. Its programs address unemployment by equipping participants with 21st-century skills, reducing societal vices, and promoting economic self-sufficiency.

Stakeholders and beneficiaries alike have lauded DHDEI for its impactful initiatives, and many eagerly await the unveiling of its 2025 empowerment calendar. With plans to expand its programs, including skill acquisition, environmental sanitation exercises, youth symposiums, and community outreach, the future looks bright for the youths of southwestern Nigeria.

Dakiz Human Development and Empowerment Initiative’s success in producing Empowerment Ambassadors underscores its mission to empower lives, inspire hope, and foster a generation of independent and community-driven youths.

The Dakiz Human Development and Empowerment Initiative remains a shining example of grassroots-driven empowerment and development.
