Yusuf made this statement during a courtesy visit to the NASRDA headquarters in Abuja, where he commended Dr. Adepoju’s outstanding leadership and vision in advancing the agency’s mission.

He described the NASRDA boss as a leader who “walks the talk,” highlighting his commitment, expertise, and ability to drive progress.

According to Yusuf, the agency has reached a significant milestone with Dr. Adepoju at its helm, citing his dedication and intellectual strength as key factors in positioning NASRDA for greater achievements.

He noted that his visit felt like a homecoming, given his longstanding relationship with the agency dating back to 2003.

Expressing admiration for the progress made under Dr. Adepoju’s leadership, Yusuf attributed the agency’s recent successes to the Director General’s patriotism, professionalism, and strategic foresight.

He lauded the bold initiatives being implemented, emphasizing that they reflect a clear vision for national development through space technology.

He further stressed that NASRDA, as a vital institution in Nigeria’s technological advancement, requires strong leadership to fulfill its mandate.

He stated that Dr. Adepoju has demonstrated the capability to enhance the agency’s visibility, impact, and alignment with both national and global priorities.

Yusuf encouraged NASRDA’s management and staff to continue supporting the Director General, emphasizing that teamwork and collective effort are essential for the agency’s growth.

He also commended the Media and Corporate Communications Department for its professionalism and strategic efforts in promoting NASRDA’s image nationally and internationally.

Looking ahead, he expressed optimism about the future of NASRDA under Dr. Adepoju’s guidance, stating that his leadership has infused the agency with renewed purpose and energy, making it a driving force for innovation and national development.

In response, Dr. Adepoju expressed gratitude for the visit and the confidence reposed in his leadership.

He acknowledged Yusuf as a valuable ally of the agency and reaffirmed his commitment to securing NASRDA’s place in the global space community through continued collaboration and support from it staff.

Accompanying Akinrogun Alaba Yusuf on the visit was Dr. Abdou Gueye, former Director of the Early Warning Department at the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).
