Family, Associates, Groups Rally Round Asiwaju of Oda Kingdom, Olugbenga Aluko to Celebrate Late Father, Pa. Aluko final burial ceremony

Family members, Clerics, Royal father’s, Chiefs, Friends, Captains of Industries, Chieftains of political parties as well as members of different groups on Saturday 28th December, 2024, rallied round to support the Asiwaju of Oda town, Olugbenga Adewale Aluko to celebrate the final burial of his late father, Chief Adewole Aluko (A . K. A Asarako), the Olokorun of Oda land.

The ceremony which kick started on 26th December, 2024 with free medical outreach in celebration of the historical victory of Gov Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa and his Deputy in the just concluded governorship election in Ondo, with cultural performances to showcase the culture of the people of Oda town came to an end on the 28th December, 2024 at Ogbe Community High School, playing ground.

The final funeral ceremony for late Chief Aluko was attended by who is who within and outside the country which includes, His Royal Highness, Oba Ojo Olugbenga Ajimokunola, the Iralepo of Isinkan land, Akure, the Regent of Oda town, Omo Oba Akinyele Mopelola Omomo, Lisa of Akure kingdom, the Ojomu of Oda town, High Chief and Chief (Mrs) Akuresanmi Amusa Bakare, the Orangun of Oda town, High Chief Martins Olu-Ojo, Oba Obirin Erelu Iyaloja of Oda town, Erelu Deborah Ebun Oladele, High Chiefs and Chiefs from Oda town, Clerics, Politicians, family and family friends, friends and well wishers.

In his chat with The Focus Magazine, Asiwaju Olugbenga Aluko described his late father as extraordinary man who his legacy touched countless lives when he was alive. His is God fearing, humble, caring and a generous man who lived a life of impact.

He stated further that his father is a great community leader who tirelessly worked to uplift and unite Oda town.

He said,” my late father is a great community leader who tirelessly worked to uplift and unite Oda town. His efforts brought people together and fostering sense of unity in the town.

His legacy as a community leader and as Olokorun of Oda land is one of his unwavering commitment and service to humanity before he joined the saints.

We the sons and daughters resolve together to organise a befitting final burial for our great partrich who’s lives worthy of emulation.

His journey in life is a profound impact, marked with achievements that have left a lasting legacy as a community leader and reputable individual. His memory will forever be cherished by all who had the opportunity to meet him”.

Also speaking, both the Ojomu and Orangun of Oda town said, late Chief Aluko is more than a remarkable individual. He was an inspiration and great testament to the extraordinary impact one person can have on the world. He not only impacted his immediate and extended family but the entire Oda community.

One of the Asiwaju friend who was at event said the massive turnout of people testifes to the fact that Asiwaju Olugbenga Aluko is greatly loved. We’re all out here to show our love and stand by him.

Guests were treated with assorted type of foods and drinks as the family of late Chief Aluko danced round to celebrate the life and times of their father.

Ondo Governor: Aiyedatiwa Appoints Ebenezer Adeniyan As His Chief Press Secretary Few hours after being sworn in as the Governor of Ondo state, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has appointed five new aides This development was  was made available to pressmen in a statement on Wednesday by the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor, Omojuwa Olusegun. According to the statement, Aiyedatiwa appointed a seasoned journalist, Mr Ebenezer Adeniyan, as his Chief Press Secretary and Sunday Abire as Special Assistant on New Media. Ebenezer Adeniyan was, until his new appointment, Publisher of Trace News magazine. Others were Abire Sunday, Special Assistant to the Governor on New Media, Smart Omodunbi, Special Assistant on Political Matters, Monturayo Oyedele, Special Assistant on Photography and Temitayo Iperepolu, Special Assistant on Domestic and Government House. Meanwhile, the Special Adviser to the Ondo state governor on Union Matters and special duties, Dare Aragbaye, has tendered his resignation. According to the letter addressed to the Secretary to the State Government SSG and dated December 27, Aragbaye said he was resigning because of the death of the governor, Rotimi Akeredolu. The letter reads, “l write to refer to the subject above and to resign my appointment as the Special Adviser to the Governor on Union Matters and Special Duties with effect from today, Wednesday, 27 December, 2023.
