Hon. Ayo Ajana promises good governance
The newly sworn in chairman for Akoko South West Local Government area of Ondo, Hon. Ayo Ajana has promised to bring good governance into the council.
In a chat with The Focus Magazine immediately he was being sworn in at International Centre for Events and Culture (DOME) in Akure, the capital of Ondo State said, my first priority is to look at the comfort of my people and their wellbeing.
Our focuses will be on the area of employment generation, wealth creation, security and agriculture.
My administration is going to prioritize agriculture to provide jobs for our youths in the council.
Ajana added that infrastructural development will be extended to all the nooks and crannies of the local government, as stakeholders from the council would be involved in developing the council.
He promised to work with traditional rulers in the council to tackle the issue of insecurity.
Our traditional rulers are the custodian of our culture and the people living in their domains . They know our people very well and at the same time the strangers living in their midst.
At the event, his Vice Chairman Hon. Theophilus Sunday Sakara who was also sworn-in promised to work with his boss to ensure that the local government becomes the envy of other councils.
