Hon. Fesobi Akinmolayan congratulates Akure Local Government Councillors, Secretary
The APC Chairman for Akure South Local Government, Hon. Chief (Dr) Fesobi Akinmolayan Johnson has congratulated the Secretary to Akure Local Government and all the Councillors representing all the eleven wards in the council.
Speaking with The Focus Magazine, Hon. Akinmolayan thanked the good people of Akure South for their votes for the APC in the just concluded local government election in the state.
Hon Akinmolayan urged the newly sworn-in Secretary and Councillors to see themselves as a servant not a lord on their people, and cooperate with Chairman of the council. They should work hard with him and deliver the dividends of democracy to the people of Akure South.
Hon. Akinmolayan enjoined the elected councillors not to forget their roots and those that supporting them for the exalted position.
The elective position they were in today is a stepping stone to their political career. It may harm or lift them up, he said.
