OTUNBA DR. TIMEHIN ADELEGBE LAYS THE FOUNDATION OF THE OWO TOWNSHIP STADIUM AND THE EMURE COMMUNITY GRAMMAR SCHOOL SCIENCE LABORATORY AS HE FLAGS OFF THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE 40 KILOMETRES OWO – UTE ROAD.
In continuation of the commissioning of some completed projects and the flag off of other new projects initiated by Otunba Dr. Timehin Adelegbe, lawmaker representing Owo/Ose Federal constituency in the green chamber, traditional rulers, Chiefs, community leaders and party leaders in Owo local government area came out in their large number on Friday, 4th of April, 2025 to witness the foundation laying ceremony of a 1000 seating capacity Owo township stadium and the foundation laying ceremony of the Emure community Grammar School Science Laboratory.
The flag off ceremony of the construction of 40 kilometres Owo-Ute township road also initiated by Otunba Timehin Adelegbe was performed by the Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, ably represented by Engr. Bola Taiwo, Special Adviser to the Governor on special duties and Union matters.
In a message delivered on behalf of the Governor, Engr. Bola Taiwo showered encomiums on Otunba Dr. Timehin Adelegbe for embarking on many laudable projects that are unprecedented in the history of Owo/Ose Federal constituency, while describing the lawmaker as a rare gem and a true representative that anyone can be proud of.
His Imperial Majesty, Oba Gbadegesin Ogunoye, the Olowo of Owo and the Chairman of the Ondo State council of Obas gave kudos to the lawmaker, while describing him as a proactive leader, whose positive impacts can be felt in every nook and cranny of Owo and Ose LGAs.

The event of the day had notable party leaders, village heads and community leaders in attendance, among whom are; Chief Samuel Balogun, APC Chairman Owo LGA, Barr Kola Olawoye SAN, former Attorney General in Ondo State, Pa Osedimbola, former APC senatorial Chairman, Hon. Stephen Igeleke, Ose LGA Secretary,, Hon Mrs Christianah Olufowose, Chairman Oredegbe LCDA, Owo LGA Councillors, Ward Chairmen and other members of the party.
Otunba Dr. Timehin Adelegbe expressed his sincere appreciation to all the traditional rulers, party leaders and members for the words of commendation received as he assured everyone of his strong determination to bring more dividends of democracy to his constituents in fulfilment of his electoral campaign promises.
The programme was rounded off with the presentation of two brand new vehicles to some loyal, hardworking and dedicated members of the party in Owo and Ose LGAs.
