Mrs. Olusegun-Olowu Olufisayo Celebrates Golden Jubilee in Grandstyle

April 12th, 2025, will ever be a memorable day in the life of Mrs. Olusegun-Olowu Olufisayo Folake, as she celebrated her golden jubilee birthday with her family, friends and wellwishers.
The festivities which took place at Atlantic De Maria Hotel, beside Model College, Akure, was attended by dignitaries within and outside the state.
Mrs. Olufisayo Folake draws inspiration from biblical concept from the book of psalm 90 verse12, which says, ” teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom “.
As a teacher, Mrs Olusegun-Olowu Olufisayo has made significant strides in educational sector. Her dedication to public service and her virtues have earned her a role model in her chosen career.
In a chat with The Focus Magazine, Mrs. Olusegun-Olowu Olufisayo Folake thanked God for allowed her to witness another year with good health, strength and happiness.
She said, ” I thanked Almighty God for allowing me to celebrate my golden jubilee with joy and happiness.
When I look back and see were I am today, I say all glory belongs to God. Whatever I achieved in my life was through His divine favour”.
To mark her golden jubilee birthday, Mrs Olusegun-Olowu Olufisayo Folake has planned a personal prayer service with her family and extended her commitment to a life devoted to God Almighty.
Her profound gratitude was to Almighty God as He allowed her to overcome all the problems facing because she enjoined divine favour and protection from God.
Mrs Olusegun-Olowu Olufisayo is an embodiment of generosity and selflessness, as she encourages everyone to focus on philanthropist that will benefit her people.
In a statement made by her husband, Engr. Olusegun-Olowu, described her wife as a woman of inestimable value who has contributed to his success in life.
” She is a woman whose has passion for humanity and her chosen career. She has justified the confidence i reposed on her as a mother, wife and a great companion. I don’t regret of married her. I prayed for more years in good health and more opportunities for her”.
It could be recalled that Mrs. Olusegun-Olowu Folake was born in Ikaram Akoko, Akoko North West Local Government area of Ondo State five decades ago.
Like other children, she started her elementary education at St. Jude’s Primary School, Ikare Akoko, and proceeded to Mount Carmel Secondary School, Ikare Akoko, where she sat for her West African Examination Council and came out with flying colour.
She proceeded to the then Ondo State College of Education, Ikere Ekiti, where she obtained her National Certificate of Education (NCE ) and later attended University of Ado Ekiti, (now Ekiti State University), where she obtained a Bachelor Degree in Arts (B.A) in English Language
Mrs. Olusegun-Olowu joined the service of Ondo State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) as a classroom teacher.
She had taught at various secondary schools in the state which includes; Aponmu Community High School, Aponmu, via Akure, Ijapo High School, Akure, Fiwasaye Girls Grammar School, Akure, African Church Comprehensive High School, Akure and now at Ijapo High School, Akure.
Mrs. Olusegun-Olowu has attended various seminars, conferences and workshops within the country, and had left her footprints on the sand of time.
Her hobbies includes, singing, reading, teaching and councelling.
Mrs. Olusegun-Olowu believes in her Creator and her virtues has been her strength. She has the abundance grace of God upon her life and she is a shining example to our generation in selfless service to humanity.
These qualities have marked her out as a great woman of inestimable value and a wonderful team player.
She is an advocate of the masses and people surrounding her wouldn’t forget her easily for what she has been doing for them.
Mrs. Olusegun-Olowu is happily married with husband of her choice and the marriage is blessed with wonderful and promising children.
As she embarks on new steps of life, friends, family and well-wishers wish Mrs. Olusegun-Olowu Olufisayo new success, joy, happiness and more strength.
