When you are elected to the council, don’t forget your people, Oba Ademehinti urges Ojo Babatunde
The Asakin of Abo Asakin in Akure North Local Government area of Ondo State, His Royal Highness, Oba Sunday Adebayo Ademehinti, has urged the candidate for ward five that comprises, Igoba and Isinigbo ward, under the platform of All Progress Congress (APC), Hon. Ojo Babatunde Olarewaju not to forget his people if he was elected into the council in the forthcoming local government election.
Oba Adebayo Ademehinti stated this when Hon. Ojo and his team paid a courtesy visit to him in his palace at Abo Asakin.
Oba Ademehinti said,” The only advice I can give to you is not to forget your people when you have been elected to the council, and at the same, remember your roots because councilorship is a stepping stone to the top.
The role you play when you are in the council will determine your political career in the future. Don’t forget those who worked for your success and see that you take care of the welfare of your people.
Whatever the council allocated to your ward, make sure it gets to the grassroots.”, he said.
