Oba Olasehinde Adegite calls for government assistance
The Olu of Ode-Igede in Akure North Local Government area of Ondo State, His Royal Highness, Oba Adeseye Olasehinde Adegite, has called on the Ondo State Government to come to their assistance.
Speaking with The Focus Magazine at his Palace, Oba Adegite said the development taking place in the community is coming through him.
“The development that we are witnessing today in the community is through selfless service from me.
I was the one who constructed all the linked roads, provided electricity, and repaired the bridges in the community.
Through my efforts, I was able to attract a project from the World Bank Assisted Programme to the community.
The road that links my community with Itaogbolu was done by me.
The community, Ode-Igede, is yet to enjoy government presence because all the developments that are happening in the town were through me with the support of my people.
But we believe that the present government under our able governor is going to extend his hands of assistance to the community”.
Oba Adegite enjoined the state government to remember the people of Ode-Igede by presenting him staff of the office.
