According to her, “Pride Zion Nursery and Primary School, has come to transform the way Nigerians are educated.
The people of Ilekun and its environs stand to benefit from this initiative”.
The school has an objective and vision, but to realize it, we will need the commitment of both the parents and the teachers.
“The school has exercised patience in the collection of fees from the parents, but notwithstanding, some parents are yet to complete the first installment payment of their children’s school fees”, she said.
Mrs Adeyemo appreciated some of the parents for the prompt payment of their children’s school fees and called on other parents to emulate them.
The proprietress used the occasion to inform the parents that the school would celebrate her inter-house sport in the year 2024.
“I want to use this occasion to inform our esteemed parents that, Pride Zion Nursery and Primary School, will hold the year 2024 inter-house sport in March”.
Mrs Adeyemo said, the academic performance of the pupils has been encouraging as the general performance stood at 97%, although the school target is 100% at all levels.
She further stated that lateness wouldn’t be condoned by any means by the citadel of learning as punctuality is the sole of business. Also, the inflation of tuition fees or any fees in the school will not be tolerated by anyone.
Mrs Adeyemo called for the support of everyone as a tree does not make a forest.
“I am appealing to our esteemed parents to please endeavor to sign at the collection and departure point for the safety of the children and It gladdens our hearts to notify you that the school has put in place some security devices to monitor all the activities in the school and we shall not relent in our efforts”, said the proprietress
Also, “I call for complete collaboration between the teachers and the parents in the education of their children. This is very important considering the leadership role they will assume in the future”, the proprietress said.
In his words of encouragement, the guest speaker, Rev’d Oladunmoye, enjoined the pupils to emulate the life of Jesus Christ.
He said, there is no message for him to deliver as the children have reached out to us through their Carol song.
Carol is a song of joy. When you are sad, just start to sing and praise God, instantly, your problem will be solved.
He urged parents to look after their children because they are our tomorrow. The Bible instructs you to teach your child the way of God, if he grows up, he will not depart from it.
