Oba Sunday Ademehinti Mourns Akeredolu
The Asakin of Abo- Asakin, in Akure North Local Government area of Ondo State, HRH, Oba (Dr) Sunday Adebayo Ademehinti has described the passage of the former Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu as a huge loss to Ondo State and Nigeria in general.
In a chat with The Focus Magazine at his palace, Oba Ademehinti said, Akeredolu has made a great contributions to the legal profession in which he belong to before going into politics.
He is one of the finest minds in the country’s legal profession, who his wise counsel and constructive contributions is hard to miss. The country has lost one of his finest.
Oba Ademehinti said, it was Governor Akeredolu that put his community into lime light by promoting him from Olus to become Oba.
” I will forever be grateful to Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu SAN, for promoting me from Olus to become Oba.
His death is a great lost to me and the entire people of Abo- Asakin”.
Oba Ademehinti stated further that, Akeredolu has exploits himself in legal profession before going into politics to contribute to the development of Ondo State and Nigeria in general.
He is a forthright person and a defender of the rule of law and protection of human rights.
As a governor, he made a policies and programmes that had direct impact on the people of Ondo State.
He is a man of ideas and action. His footprints dot the entire landscape in the hundreds of kilometers of roads, security, healthcare and infrastructure.
Akeredolu is a courageous leader, bold and honest whose legacy will never be forgotten.
Oba Ademehinti said, the death of Akeredolu is a personal loss to him because I was very close to him and his wife.
Oba Ademehinti said, he condole with Aiyedatiwa, the governor of Ondo State, the family of the deceased and the entire people of Ondo State over this painful loss.
