Let us support Olojoda Elects
—- High Chief Bakare Amusa
The people of Oda town has been called upon to support the newly installed Olojoda elected, HRH, Oba Julius Adewumi Omomo.
In a chat with the Focus Magazine, the Ojomu of Oda town, High Chief Bakare Akuresanmi Amusa said, both sons and daughters of Oda town should come together and support Oba Julius Omomo because him alone can’t do it.
He said, ” I called on sons and daughters of Oda town to come together and support the newly installed kabiyesi of the town, HRH, Oba Julius Omomo.
He needs our support for the progress of the town as him alone can’t do it”.
High Chief Amusa said, “the coronation of the Oba was fantastic and lovely as the whole system was alright.
I believed that his reigns would bring development into the community.
We have been able to see the sign as some organisation has been planning to organise a free health service for the people of the town.
Also, the road from Agbota to Board is ongoing as the state government has started work on it”.
Amusa stated further that, in one of the interview he granted The Focus Magazine some time ago, he said, ” any town without an Oba would not witnessed any progress.
Now that Oda town have an Oba, we have been started to witness development.
Also, the information at our disposal now is that the state government is ready to make Oda town the headquarters of the newly created LDC which is going to bring accelerated development to the community”.
Amusa urged the royal family to remember that the seat of Oba is meant for only one person.
” In whichever way it goes, they should see themselves as one.
Because by the time the family was called to present a candidate to occupy the throne, they were not told to bring a candidate from other families who were not from the royal family.
So the person that emerged as Oba happened to be ones of the prominent son of the royal family.
So, they should come together to see that the town is progressing”, he said.
