I’ll Ever Be Grateful Toll Akeredolu – Oba Ademehinti
The Asakin of Abo Asakin in Akure North Local Government, His Royal Highness, Oba Dr. Sunday Adebayo Ademehinti has said he would ever be grateful to the former Governor of Ondo State, late Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu SAN, for made him to be one of the Olu’s promoted to become a king.
Oba Ademehinti stated this while having a chat with The Focus Magazine recently.
He said, “I would ever be grateful to the late former governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu SAN for making me one of the Olu’s promoted to become Oba in Ondo State.
He is a man who asks his mind without fear of anyone except his creator. A great warrior who has the interest of his people at heart.
When the state was facing the challenge of insecurity, he fought for the establishment of Amotekun Corps and today, the state has been secured from the hands of banditry, kidnappers, and Fulani herdsmen”.
Oba Ademehinti praises the effort of the late governor for his foresight and his infrastructure development in every sector of the state.
Oba Ademehinti urged people in the state to join hands with the governor of Ondo State, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for his giant strides since taking the mantle of leadership.
“I want every sons and daughters across the state to support our governor, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for his giant strides since he became the governor of Ondo State. He has done well in every sector.
He has showcased his dedication, competence, and vision for a better Ondo State.
All the projects embarked upon by his predecessor did not stop. He wasted no time in initiating transformative policies and projects across various sectors in Ondo State.
He started from the infrastructure to education, healthcare to welfare of the people. His administration has left no stone unturned.
He mobilized contractors back to sites to ensure speedy delivery of road projects that the late governor started.
He flagged off the rural roads, #3.4 billion committed to the construction of rural roads across the state.
The Light Up Akure project with the commencement of solar solar-powered project to lighten up Akure and other cities in the state.took care of the welfare of the workers in the state by the payment of 2017 salary arrears to workers.
Payment of #35,000 wage awarded to workers.
Payment of three months’ salary arrears of workers of RUGIPOLY.
#1.5b gratuity paid to retirees and provision of palliative transport to ease the financial burden of workers as a result of the removal of fuel subsidy”, he said.
Oba Ademehinti called on the politicians jostling to become the governor of the state to play the game according to the rule.
