*OUR JOURNEY OF RENEWED HOPE BEGINS* Our Journey Of Renewed Hope Begins- Senator Ayo Akintelure A joint Press Statement issued by Distinguished Senator Ayo Akinyelure and all my Political Structures and Stakeholders on their resignation from the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) and official declaration for All Progressives Congress (APC). I, Distinguished Senator Ayo Akinyelure who represented Ondo Central Senatorial District at the Upper Chamber of the National Assembly in the 7th and 9th Senate is hereby most delighted to officially announce my formal declaration for the All Progressives Congress, APC in Ondo State today, 28th October, 2023 following my resignation of PDP membership on the floor of the Senate of the 9th Assembly with effect from 11th June, 2023. My decision was taken after several months of wide consultations with my esteemed Leaders, Stakeholders, Constructive Constituents and committed followers of my political ideology of adding value and very distinguished admirers from the length and breath of Ondo State and Ondo Central Senatorial District in particular. The mood of Ondo State, as clearly expressed in the last general election is to particularly support Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria by winning all the 18 Local Government Areas of Ondo State for APC for the first time ever. This shows that Ondo State generally support the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR. Therefore, my official decamping to APC today is to join the progressives to come and add value for successful administration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who has been my Political Leader, and Mentor when I started my political career in Lagos, Alimosho Local Government Area and as the Chairman of LARIP, (Lagos State Amenities Restoration and Improvement Project), a private sector initiative by my humble self as a Chartered Accountants and Chartered Tax Practitioners with Licence Nos: 1924 and 007 to practice as a Chartered Accountant and Tax Practitioner by ICAN and CITN in the Federal Republic of Nigeria to generate revenue significantly for Lagos State Government when Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu was democratically elected as civilian Governor of Lagos State from an average of N450million IGR monthly to over N10-N15billion monthly before I moved to Ondo State over 21 years ago to practice politics that promoted me into the Senate of the 7th and 9th Assembly of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to represent Ondo Central on two terms. I, as a Progressive Politician with track records of people’s welfare and empowerment, I cannot but identify with a political platform that is poised to change Nigeria for good under the renewed hope agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, therefore my decision and that of all my political followers and stakeholders in Ondo Central and Ondo State in general and particularly in Idanre LGA is hinged on the need to engender good governance in Ondo State, put the State in the mainstream of national politics and foster regional integration and add value to my people in all ramifications under the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration. My journey for change for renewed hope agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the whole nation has just begun with this epic declaration in my Local Government, Idanre LGA. I, as a political stakeholder in Ondo Central politics in the last 21 years shall embrace all parties Leaders and followers within APC and keep all abreast of other milestones as history unfolds for development of our Party to greater heights of development to the betterment of all during the present administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR. Finally, let me use this medium to commend the Governor of the State, Arakunrin ODUNAYO Akreredolu, SAN who is presently out of the State on medical leave abroad for treatment, we pray that God Almighty will grant him speedy recovery from his sickness and return back to the State hale and hearty to resume work in earnst. I also, thank the leadership of APC in my Local Government, particularly the State Chairman of the Party, Engr. Ade Adetimehim and other Political Leaders and Stakeholders of APC in Idanre LGA for this warm decamping reception to welcome me back to APC today with this crowd of political lovers of Allover Strategic Alliance Group (ASAG), with membership running to several thousands across 18 Local Government Areas of Ondo State who will now automatically become members of APC political platform from today 28th day of October,2023.
