Odatiwa Women Initiatives: Aiyedatiwa Kickstarts Distribution OF Food To Rural Communities

*Odatiwa Women Initiatives: Aiyedatiwa Kickstarts Distribution OF Food To Rural Communities.*  In a bid to alleviate the hardship faced by women in rural communities, the Odatiwa Women Initiatives, spearheaded by the Special Adviser on Women Affairs, Dr Seun Osamaye, has kicked off the distribution of food and relief materials. This initiative, championed by Ondo State Governor, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, aims to bring much-needed assistance to the grassroots level.  In a statement by the special adviser designate  to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa on women affairs, Dr Seun Osamaye, She restated the Governor’s commitment to the welfare of women in the state particularly, those in very rural and remote areas, and his willingness to take governance to their doorsteps. She said “With a focus on areas that have traditionally been underserved by the government, the program seeks to make a tangible impact on the lives of women in these communities. By providing essential food items and relief materials, the Odatiwa Women Initiatives are working to ensure that no woman is left behind in the quest for sustainable development. Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa remains the best to champion the interest of women and ensure that they take their place in governance and the society “.  The distribution of food and relief materials is an important step towards ensuring that women in rural communities have access to essential resources during these challenging times. By providing support directly to the grassroots, the Odatiwa Women Initiatives are taking proactive measures to address the needs of vulnerable populations in Ondo State.  Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa’s commitment to supporting women in rural communities is evident through this initiative.  This distribution of food will not only provide much-needed assistance to those in need but also serve as a beacon of hope for women in rural communities.  As we continue to navigate the challenges brought on by the ongoing pandemic, it is crucial that we prioritize the well-being of all members of our society, particularly those in underserved areas. The Odatiwa Women Initiatives are leading by example, demonstrating the power of unity and compassion in times of crisis.  We encourage other stakeholders and members of the community to support these efforts and work together to ensure that no one is left behind. Together, we can create a more inclusive and resilient society for all.

2024: GOV AIYEDATIWA RECEIVES APC CERTIFICATE OF RETURN  – NWC endorses Appeal Committee report, ratifies primary outcome    The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Umar Abdullahi Ganduje, on Monday presented Certificate of Return to the Governor of Ondo State, Hon Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, as the candidate of the APC in the November 16 governorship election in the State.  The certificate was presented to the Governor at the National Secretariat of the party in Abuja in the presence of members of the National Working Committee of the party.  Presenting the certificate, Ganduje expressed satisfaction with the outcome of the primary and congratulated the Governor for emerging victorious.   Ganduje said he has been fascinated with the trajectory of Aiyedatiwa from Deputy Governor to Acting Governor and to Governor, adding that he will also remain Governor from February 24, 2025.  The National Chairman stressed that continuity is crucial and with Aiyedatiwa continuing as Governor, Ondo State will witness unprecedented development.   Responding, Governor Aiyedatiwa thanked the national leadership of the party for presiding over a successful electoral process that brought about his emergence as the governorship candidate.   The Governor saluted all the other aspirants who participated in the primary, appreciating them for being good sport and urging them to join hands with him in uniting the party towards a good outing in the coming election.   In his opening remarks, the Deputy National Chairman, South, of the party, Hon. Emma Enekwu, said the NWC earlier in the day approved the report of the Primary Appeal Committee and subsequently adopted the outcome of the primary.   In his closing remarks, the State Chairman of the APC,  Engr. Ade Adetimehin, said all efforts will be put in to ensure that the party remains united ahead of the governorship election, adding that Ondo will remain a progressive State.
